Went on a Friday night and no one but my husband and myself. We ordered a gyro and 3 chicken Sharmas. The chicken was very dry and the beef gyro was 2 thin slices in a large burnt tasting pita. Within a hour after my husband ate he felt sick and went to bed shortly after eating his chicken Sharma. The next morning he took the 2 sharmas to work and gave one to friend. The next few hours my husband still felt really sick and his friend didnt feel well either. My husband took 3 days off work. Due to food poisoning.

I have enjoyed lunch and dinner on many occasions at this restaurant. Authentic Mediterranean food with friendly service. I really appreciate the weekdays lunch specials. Keep up the good work.

Nice restaurant layout and clean also. Food was great. Ordered chicken Shwarma and it was amazing. I really was surprised by how good (cooked perfectly and right amount of seasoning) it was. Service was great too. My friends and I enjoyed our time there. Keep up the good work 👍

Ordered a carry out of Kibbi for an appetizer on Mother’s Day. It was delicious. Everybody loved it. Also I brought my own dish in and they prepared it in the dish for me.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and the restaurant was almost empty. I don't understand why because the food was awesome, prices were very reasonable, and the service was great.

Alexander's is under new management/ownership and the quality has slipped a little. Now, the complimentary bread is a basket of pitas and bread baked in house, where before it was all in house baked. The new in house bread has a more doughy taste. The chicken shawarma has been dry on two occasions. I miss the original...

This place is great. Inside is always clean and well maintained. Customer service is great always professional and kind. Food is great cooked to perfection and delicious. Will be coming back.

I've driven past this place daily for years. There are NEVER people inside or parked. When you drive by the parking lot is Always empty. Not a good look. A name change may be the only help to lure folks in.

Picked up some chicken shwarma sandwiches and a gyro sandwich. They were very good. Not too greasy like some other places. Talked to the owner who was very nice about the new menu coming out. Hopefully business picks up for them.

This place was recently bought and they have no idea what they are doing. Food is over cooked and dry and you have to ask for garlic. What Lebanese restaurant doesn’t give you garlic?? Get a grip guys, your not going to make it. I wonder what the next place will be. 🤔 I know the previous owners, Deleda, taught you better than this. Guess I’ll just have to buy her shawarma at Friends Cafe in Troy.

Excellent service and excellent food. I ordered the lunch special which you get a lot of food for a lower price. The fatoosh salad that came with the lunch special was a good size salad and the dressing was very good. The chicken schwarma was very good, but the garlic sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. I was very pleased with the staff and how clean everything was. I will definitely go back soon.

One of the best places for Mediterranean food

Carry out order was absolutely the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and fast and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. We are all for supporting local small businesses. During COVID19, when a lot of smaller places struggle to stay open, this place went above and beyond to ensure excellent customer service. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Alexander's Kabob Island hosted a large party for our family. The owner was extremely helpful when it came to organizing and very accommodating to our needs and wishes. The wait staff was very friendly, attentive and prompt and the food was outstanding. Very relaxed atmosphere in which we could enjoy our time and company. I highly recommend!!

I ordered a carryout today from Kabob Island. I had two friends at my home for lunch so I ordered the Island Plate (serves 2, the menu said). It offered a plentiful selection so I thought it might serve 3. Honestly, I could have served 6! And the food was amazing! My friends just raved at how delicious it was. I just found my new, favorite restaurant!

Reserved a small area for my daughter's birthday so she may celebrate my her birthday with her close friends. I have to admit, this is a very nice restaurant, very clean, you notice it as soon as you walk in and see the tables and the floor/tile . This is really a thank you for the way we were treated. Place has good authentic Mediterranean food. The workers/waiters took great care of us. It made for a pleasant and wonderful birthday party. Thank you!

BEST FOOD would go again best staff.

Last time I visited this place was approximately 9 months ago. I was passing by today and noticed that the place from outside looked different so I decided to go in and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is under new management. I really disliked the old owners/workers of the restaurant, they were just by nature rude and unwelcoming. It made me not want to go in and deal with them. I spoke to the new owner and told him that I was an old customer, and after ordering, he willingly gave me extra appetizers and told me it's on the house. I have never had anyone do anything like that for me. It was a really nice gesture. These folks are there to make a living, they really shouldn't be doing this, but they did. Maybe they're not like this with every customer, but it really was a nice gesture.Food was really good and the family loved it. I noticed they have good prices for lunch specials too. I will be going back there again 100%

Alexanders has great food. If you're in a hurry or want to sit down, it's good. If you really want an amazing Chicken or Beef Shawarma (for cheap) then this is the place to be. It's so good and the people are very nice. Food was delicious and tasty. I highly recommended this place.

We ordered food from Alexander’s kabob island for my daughters birthday party. Food was made to order and was super delicious. Owner, Sam is very nice and made everything fresh just before pick up time. Portion size was generous and best quality. Prices for party catering are very reasonable . We got lots of complements for food. I will highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Need to hire more wait staff at least for the lunch hour. Used to be in and out within 45 minutes. It was at least an hour and 15 minutes when I went. Food was good but it was the wrong sandwich. I didn't have time on my lunch break to wait for the correct sandwich.

This place is fantastic. My grandmother lives around the corner, and whenever family comes into town, whether it be from Boston, Oregon, Connecticut, New York City, or other areas of Michigan, we always get Alexander's. The humus is perfectly seasoned. The service is outstanding,the staff is incredibly kind, and the prices are very reasonable. Thanks for being around!
